Gary Job Corps Center celebrated three students last week for achieving their MAJAC — Military, Apprenticeship, Job, Advanced Trade, or College — after successfully graduating from Gary Job Corps. Coleton Jameyson (middle) has received a full scholarship to Huston-Tillotson University in Austin. Gary Job Corps Center’s Student Government Association volunteered at the Embassy Suite’s Summer Festival recently. Students ran carnival booths and games like the inflatable obstacle course, ring toss, dunk tank, popcorn, snow cones and musical chairs. Many employees, family, and friends enjoyed the festivities for the day.
