HAYS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
The Hays County Commissioners Court finalized the terms of the contract awarded to Austin Pets Alive!, a leading animal welfare organization, to continue their work for the Hays County Pet Resource, Education and Research Center. In July 2024, the court awarded the contract to APA! and has been in negotiations to identify specific community programs while sustaining the significant work made thus far.
“Working together with APA!, we’re making strides towards creating a compassionate and supportive environment for the pets and residents of Hays County. The recently approved contract is a testament to our commitment to fostering a community where our furry friends can thrive alongside their human companions,” Hays County Judge Ruben Becerra said.
