The San Marcos City Cemetery will host the annual wreath-laying ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 14, joining more than 4,600 other locations across the country for National Wreaths Across America Day. Coordinated and led by city staff and local volunteers, funds are raised throughout the year to sponsor the placement of over 950 Veterans’ wreaths on the headstones of our fallen service members laid to rest in the cemetery. This annual event seeks to further the WAA mission of Remember, Honor, Teach, ensuring that the memory of those who served our country endures.
