Hats Off for Veterans, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting military veterans, has been awarded a $5,000 grant from Pedernales Electric Cooperative. This funding will be used to make essential capital improvements and technological upgrades, enabling the organization to enhance its outreach and training programs.

The grant will facilitate the purchase of new equipment, including a laptop, digital camera, design software, projector and projector screen, among other tools. These upgrades will significantly improve Hats Off for Veterans’ ability to deliver impactful presentations and provide high-quality training sessions for veterans and their communities.

“We are incredibly grateful to Pedernales Electric Cooperative for their support and belief in our mission,” said Lisa Adams, CEO of Hats Off for Veterans. “This grant will allow us to modernize our resources, ensuring that we can better serve the veterans who have served our country so selflessly.”

The partnership between PEC and Hats Off for Veterans reflects a shared commitment to strengthening local communities and honoring those who have dedicated their lives to service.
