Texas State will be making the trip to Dallas for the NCAA Tournament with the Bobcats being selected to play in the Dallas Regional.

The Bobcats will play the Missouri Tigers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Texas State qualified for the NCAA Tournament after winning the Sun Belt Tournament title last Sunday. The Bobcats defeated all three opponents in the tournament without dropping the set.

This will be the Bobcats 14th NCAA Tournament appearance, the most by any Bobcat athletic program. It is also Head Coach Sean Huiet’s third appearance in the NCAA Tournament since taking over the program in 2020.

Texas State’s last appearance in the NCAA Tournament came last season where the Bobcats qualified as an at-large bid for the first time in program history. The Bobcats lost to SMU in the first round of the tournament.

Texas State will play Missouri at 4 p.m. on Thursday night at the Moody Coliseum in Dallas. The winner will take on the winner of SMU-Wichita State.
