The Rattlers won their third consecutive game, beating the Austin LASA Raptors 71-60.
San Marcos improves their record to 9-7 overall.
The Rattlers jumped out on the Raptors in the first quarter, outscoring LASA 18-9 during the period.
While the Raptors got their offense back on track, scoring 25 points during the period, San Marcos’ offense did not let up, scoring 15 points.
However, going into halftime, San Marcos trailed LASA 34-33.
The Rattlers and the Raptors went back and forth in the third quarter before both teams entered the fourth quarter all tied at 52-52.
But in the final period, it was San Marcos coming out on top. The Rattlers outscored the Raptors 19-8 in the fourth quarter and knocked out LASA 71-60 to win their third straight game.
Senior forward Donovan Riddick led the team in scoring with 27 points followed by senior forward Josiah Hollmon with 26. Senior Cash Good was third in scoring with nine points.
San Marcos will be back home this Tuesday to play Austin Bowie. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
