The 2024 Leadership and Business Summit will convene key leaders, policymakers, and community advocates to address upcoming legislative challenges that could significantly impact communities of color from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m on Friday, Dec. 6 at Primera Iglesia Bautista de Austin, 2100 E. Ben White Blvd in Austin. The event, hosted by five influential Hispanic organizations, will provide tools and strategies to strengthen advocacy efforts and protect the progress achieved in Texas.
The event is hosted by Texas Association of Mexican America Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC), Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas (HWNT), Hispanic Advocates Business Leaders of Austin (HABLA), Economic Growth Business Incubator (EGBI), the U.S. Hispanic Contractors Association.
Texas has been a majority-minority state since 2014, yet policies often fail to reflect the state’s diversity and equity priorities. This summit is a call to action to empower leaders, equip advocates, and mobilize communities for impactful change in 2024 and beyond.
