SAN MARCOS FIRE DEPARTMENT
Emergency vehicles could be heard tearing through Northbound I-35 on Dec. 11. City of San Marcos officials said the San Marcos Fire Department responded to a structure fire located at Kobe Steakhouse and Sushi, 210 Springtown Way, at 9:43 p.m.
“The caller reported smoke in the dining room, but no flames,” the city said. “Upon arrival, personnel located a burnedup fan motor in an HVAC unit on the roof.”
The HVAC unit was tended to, and no property damage was sustained.
