SMHS BOYS BASKETBALL
San Marcos notched their first district win of the season with a 66-54 victory over their Hays County neighbors in the Buda Johnson Jaguars.
The win improves the Rattlers’ record 11-8 overall and their district record to 1-0.
Senior shooting forward Donovan Riddick led the team in both scoring and rebounds with 27 points and 10 boards, completing the double-double.
Senior point guard Cash Good was second in scoring with 19 points and led the team in assists with 10 to also complete the double-double.
Senior shooting forward Josiah Hollmon was third in scoring with nine points along with 10 rebounds.
San Marcos will be back home Friday against Clemens. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
