Start Smart Hays and Caldwell is hosting an event at 10 a.m. on Dec. 30 at the San Marcos Public Library that is an opportunity to ensure your child’s safety on the road. This is an in-person event where one can learn about the safe installation and use of carseats and receive a free booster seat for each child in need. The presentation will be given in both English and Spanish. Caregivers must attend the presentation to receive free car seats.There will be no late admissions after 10:20 a.m.
