Kyle Chamber CEO transfers to Richardson

Julie Snyder, Kyle Chamber of Commerce CEO, will no longer be with the Kyle chamber as she has received a new position. The executive committee of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Snyder as the new president and CEO of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce.

Snyder will begin with Richardson on February 3, 2025.

“The chamber has undergone a wide variety of changes and enhancements in the past several years, and Julie has the background and skills to take our successes and build on them.” said Randy Ford, chairman of the board. “We are excited to see what the future holds under her direction.”

Prior to her leadership at the Kyle Chamber of Commerce, Snyder was previously with California Automotive Wholesalers’ Association where she served as vice president and director of operations. She also has a breadth of chamber experience including roles as member relations director at the Roseville, California Chamber of Commerce, membership director at the Arizona Chamber, and membership and special events director at the Greater Reno-Sparks Chamber. She has been in Kyle since 2013 and has been instrumental in creating new events, growing member engagement and increasing revenue.

Snyder is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute of Organization Management Program. She is on the boards for the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives, the City of Kyle Economic Development Board and the Hays CISD Advisory Board. Her memberships include the Western Association of Chamber Executives, the Texas Travel Industry Association, US Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives and the Rotary Club of Kyle, where she was a past president and the recipient of the prestigious Paul Harris Award.

“It is an extraordinary honor to have been selected as the next president and CEO of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce,” Snyder said. “I look forward to working alongside their board of directors and community leaders to increase business growth and success through excellent programming and resources.”

Snyder is replacing Kim Quirk who announced her retirement earlier this year. She will continue to serve as the executive director of Leadership Richardson.

The Richardson Chamber of Commerce serves as the voice of the local Richardson business community, focused on driving business success. In the top 1% of chambers in the nation with a fivestar accreditation by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the RCC focuses on professional growth, leadership, advocacy, connection-building and economic development for the Richardson community.
