Cuauhtemoc Express brings kids Christmas fun

La Sociedad Mutualista Cuauhtemoc, a long-standing non-profit in San Marcos since 1942, hosted its annual charity event, the Cuauhtemoc Express, on Dec. 14 at Cuauhtemoc Hall. The free community event, held from 9 to 11 a.m., featured “Pancakes with Santa,” activities for children and festive photo opportunities.

“We want to give back,” Dianna Price, Cuauhtemoc Hall festivity coordinator, said. “We do scholarships for high schools, but we also want to support the smaller kids in the community.”

The organization is committed to fostering community spirit and creating joyful moments for children.

“We love seeing the little kids’ faces light up,” Price said.
