Triple Six Social embraces dark side of Christmas lore
Triple Six Social hosted a Krampus Celebration last week complete with a costume contest, live music and vendors. According to the Britannica website, Krampus is a central European legend, which is part goat and part demon and punishes misbehaving children at Christmastime. Krampus is the counterpart to St. Nicholas who is believed to have originated in Germany. His name is derived from the German word Krampen, which means claw.
