As we step into 2025, my resolution is to continue fostering a resilient and thriving Hays County. This year, we’ll focus on building a foundation for sustainable growth, enhancing public safety and improving access to essential services. A major priority is the establishment of a hospital district to ensure all residents have access to quality healthcare and mental health resources. Additionally, we are excited to rebuild the Civic Center in the county seat, creating a space that strengthens our sense of community.
Our progress will be fueled by collaboration — working hand-in-hand with local leaders, law enforcement and residents to address challenges with unity and determination. Together, we can navigate the road ahead, embracing opportunities to shape a prosperous future. Guided by shared values and a commitment to one another, 2025 holds the promise of progress, hope and new beginnings. Let’s make it a year to remember!
