The Lady Rattlers winning streak hit 10 games while their record at the Snake Pit remains perfect, beating the East Central Lady Hornets 62-36.
San Marcos improves their record to 18-5 overall and their district record to 4-0 overall.
Sophomore shooting guard Rileigh Good led the team in scoring with 15 points followed by junior power foward Kylie Joseph with 10 points. Senior shooting guard Ayleceia Pierson and junior shooting Azariah Fennell were third in scoring with nine points apiece followed by senior point guard Ezra Tobias with eight points.
San Marcos undefeated district record will be put to the test when the Lady Rattlers go on the road to Converse to face-off with the No. 1 ranked team in the state in the Judson Lady Rockets.
Judson enters the game with a 25-1 record with their lone loss coming against archrival San Antonio Wagner in overtime.
Last Friday, Judson defeated Cibolo Steele 4340 to leave both the Lady Rockets and the Lady Rattlers tied for first place in the district standings.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at Judson High School.
