The Homless Coalition of Hays County and Community Organizations Active in Disasters Winter Shelter has been activated at Southside Community Center since Sunday night. It is going to be a cold week in San Marcos. The warming center will be open beginning at 7 p.m. and likely for most of the week. Not only does this offer respite from the cold, but they also provide dinner and breakfast for our neighbors.
As the only warming shelter in the county, Southside Community Center relies on generous donations to help serve our neighbors.
