Chamber launches business advocacy survey

SAN MARCOS AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce is calling on local businesses to participate in a newly launched Business Advocacy Survey designed to identify challenges, opportunities and areas where the Chamber can advocate for policies and initiatives that promote a thriving business environment.

The survey is part of the Chamber’s ongoing mission to amplify the collective voice of the San Marcos business community. By fostering relationships with key policymakers, addressing critical issues and advocating for change, the Chamber works year-round to create a marketplace where businesses can prosper.

Local business owners and professionals are encouraged to share their experiences and insights through this quick, streamlined survey. Responses will help shape the Chamber’s advocacy agenda and ensure that the specific needs of San Marcos businesses are represented in conversations at the local, regional, and state levels.

“This survey is your opportunity to tell us what’s affecting your business. We’re here to listen and act on your behalf,” said Page Michel, President & CEO of the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce.

The survey asks participants to outline the challenges they face. Based on the feedback, the Chamber will leverage its connections, resources and expertise to tackle obsta- cles and champion local business interests.

This initiative underscores the Chamber’s commitment to being a proactive partner for the business community. By gathering firsthand insights, the Chamber can continue to support policies and initiatives that foster economic growth, job creation and a vibrant marketplace.

“San Marcos businesses don’t have to navigate challenges alone,” Michel added. “We’re stronger when we work together, and this survey will help ensure that every business in our community has a voice in shaping its future.”

Business owners and professionals can access the survey at bit.ly/SMChamber- Advocacy and have until Jan. 29 to complete it. The Chamber encourages all members of the business community to participate and share the survey with colleagues and peers.
