The Lady Rattlers notched their second road win in a row, beating the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs 2-0 last Friday night.
The victory improves San Marcos’ record to 5-2-1 overall.
Senior Daci Suarez scored the first goal for the Lady Rattlers, giving San Marcos an early 1-0 lead.
Senior middlefielder Kareena Rodriguez added the second goal for San Marcos in the first half to put the Lady Rattlers up 2-0.
Freshman Goalkeeper Eve Prince had five saves for San Marcos, keeping the Bulldawgs off the scoreboard.
San Marcos will be back on the road Thursday against Hays County neighbor Wimberley. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
