It’s here at last. The Second Annual San Marcos Music Awards ceremony is coming to the Price Center, 222 West San Antonio Street, this Friday, Jan. 31. You can walk the red carpet and show off your fashion imagination starting at 6 p.m.; the ceremony begins at 7 and finishes at about 10. Tickets are available now — just go to KZSM. org and click San Marcos Music Awards. The price of admission includes five tickets to exchange for food and drink to enjoy during the evening.
For the optimal experience (and the best deal!), purchase a $20 SMMA membership. In addition to 50% off on your tickets to the ceremony, you’ll receive a membership card good for discounts at local businesses and a free official SMMA T-shirt, proudly showcasing your support for local music. And as a member, you’ll be able to renew and nominate your favorite artists for next year’s awards.

Our celebration of the San Marcos music scene wouldn’t be complete without live music. Presenters will include city and county officials, local personalities, KZSM radio hosts and some surprises.
