The Rattlers fell in the district game against Clemens Friday night, losing to the Buffaloes 3-2.
San Marcos falls to 3-8 overall and 1-1 in district play.
Max Guzman scored the opening goal for the Rattlers, capitalizing on the penalty kick to beat the goalkeeper and giving San Marcos a 1-0 lead in the first half.
Going into the second half, San Marcos led 1-0.
Alvaro Garcia added the second goal for the Rattlers in the second half as Clemens scored three in the second half to take the win at 3-2.
San Marcos will go on the road Tuesday night for a district showdown with the East Central Hornets. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
