SH 130 Concession Co., the private entity that operates and maintains the 41-mile southern section of the SH 130 toll road between Austin and San Antonio, has named veteran transportation executive Ananth Prasad, P.E., as its new CEO.
With more than 30 years of experience in public and private-sector transportation leadership positions, Prasad joins the company from the Florida Transportation Builders’ Association, where he has served as President since 2018.
“SH 130 is an increasingly important piece of the regional transportation network in the heart of the booming Austin- San Antonio corridor, and I’m excited to join the company at a pivotal time,” Prasad said. “I look forward to working with the SH 130 team, as well as our partners at the Texas Department of Transportation, local communities and other regional stakeholders, as we seek new ways to support regional mobility and economic development.”
