Texas State fell on the road to the Central Michigan Chippewas, losing 85-70.
The loss drops the Bobcats overall record to 1213.
Senior forward Tylan Pope led the team in scoring with 13 points followed by sophomore point guard Kaden Gumbs with 12 points. Gumbs also led the team in assists with six. Junior guard Coleton Benson was third in scoring with 11 points.
Following their 75-64 loss to Old Dominion on Wednesday, the Bobcats enter the week on a five game losing streak.
Texas State will look to rebound next Wednesday on the road against Louisiana Monroe. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m.
