VALENTINE’S FOR INTROVERTS

As my friends at The Floral Studio have said, the best Valentine’s Day is on a Friday. You can extend that romantic date night well into the normal bedtime and then sleep it all off on a snuggly Saturday morning. However, my husband and I are introverts, so we plan to avoid the dinner date crowd. Here’s our ingenious introvert plan: Order a Casablanca pizza from Pie Society (Harissa, red onion, Merguez Sausage from Three Six General, seasoned chickpeas, whipped goat ricotta, Zataar and fresh mint), pick up a bottle of Bending Branch red wine and a pack of Good Looks Amber Ale from Roughhouse Brewing, and finally watch Moana 2 on Disney Plus in our PJs. On Saturday, we’re hitting Lower Purgatory to practice for our Mordor Hike in two weeks, and then on Sunday, we’ll swing by the SMTX Sustainable Market on the Square, because we’re all about preserving the good things in our life.
