The San Marcos Juneteenth Foundation celebrated Juneteenth last weekend with the annual Charity Barbecue Cook Off Competition and Music Festival at Plaza Park.
Categories for the cook off included Youth Pork Chops, Fajitas, Beans, Margaritas, Chicken, Baby Back or Spare Rib, Cook's Choice, Cobbler and Brisket.
Team Old Timers came in first place in the Margarita Competition.
Team Cowboy Cookers came in first place for Youth Pork chops; team Puttin' in Work came in first for Fajitas and cobbler; team Moe Belly BBQ came in first for Beans; team Old Timers came in first for Margaritas; team Big Smoking BBQ came in first for Chicken; team 3rd generation Mooseheads came in first for Ribs; and team Double Stack Smokers came in first for Brisket and Cook's Choice for their ribeye.
Cowboy Cookers came in first place in the Youth Pork Chop competition.
