SAN MARCOS ART LEAGUE
The San Marcos Art League’s Annual Holiday Fundraiser, held in December 2024, was a resounding success, bringing together local artists, community members, and supporters to raise $500 in aid of the Hays County Food Bank. This generous contribution is set to provide 1,500 meals for residents in need across the county.
Artists from the San Marcos Art League donated unique ornaments and original works of art to the event, which was designed to support those facing food insecurity during the holiday season. The annual fundraiser’s success was due to the dedication and creativity of local artists who generously shared their talents, as well as the compassion of attendees who purchased the donated pieces.
The $500 raised will provide a significant boost to the Hays County Food Bank, which works yearround to provide food and other resources to families in need. With the support of local organizations like the San Marcos Art League, the Food Bank continues to address the growing need in the community.
The San Marcos Art League remains committed to fostering a spirit of giving, collaboration and creativity. Their annual holiday fundraiser has become a beloved tradition, and they look forward to continuing to support local causes in the years to come.
