The Lady Rattlers earned an important district home win, beating the Schertz Clemens Buffaloes 3-2.
The win improves San Marcos’ record to 9-7-1 and their district record to 4-4. The Lady Rattlers sit in fourth place in the district standings.
Senior Annalise Martinez scored two goals for the Lady Rattlers while senior Kareena Rodriguez scored one goal. Rodriguez also earned an assist.
San Marcos will be on the road Friday night, going to East Central for a showdown with the Hornets. East Central is coming off a 10-0 loss to Cibolo Steele.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
