Hats Off For Veterans, a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting those who have served in the U.S. military, is excited to announce the opening of two new scholarship programs aimed at helping veterans pursue their first undergraduate college degree. These scholarships are part of HOFV’s ongoing mission to provide veterans with the resources they need to succeed academically and professionally. By easing the financial burden of higher education, these programs offer veterans an opportunity to continue their educational journey and achieve their long-term career goals. Applications for both scholarships are now being accepted.
The HOFV Scholarship is available to veterans from Texas who are working towards their first undergraduate degree at both two-year and fouryear colleges. Two awards of $2,000 each will be granted. This scholarship is open to veterans who have served in any branch of the U.S. military and are currently pursuing their first college degree.
The MSG Jimmie Quintero Scholarship is specifically designed for Texas veterans entering college as freshmen. One veteran will be awarded $1,000 to assist with academic expenses as they begin their higher education journey.
Applications for both scholarships can be submitted via email or mail. The deadline for submission is March 31.
For veterans who have already earned their undergraduate degree, the HOFV Professional Development Grant is available to support ongoing career development and continued education. This grant is intended to help veterans advance their professional skills and career growth after completing their undergraduate degree. Applications for this grant are accepted year-round and can be found on our website.
