There was another structure fire in the city of San Marcos last week. The San Marcos Fire Department responded to a fire at Younger Street and Chestnut Street five minutes after a phone call was received at 2:36 p.m. on Friday, according to the city of San Marcos.
The fire was under control by 2:55 p.m.
“The home’s resident, a 34 year-old female, was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with non-life-threatening emergencies,” the city stated.
The fire was contained to the residence, and its cause is still under investigation.
