CASA of Central Texas is proud to announce its participation in Child Abuse Prevention Month this April. As part of its ongoing commitment to protecting and advocating for children, CASA will be hosting a series of proclamations and a special dinner and auction event on April 11.
Child Abuse Prevention Month is a time to raise awareness about the critical issue of child abuse and neglect, and to promote the importance of community involvement in safeguarding children. Throughout the month, CASA of Central Texas will be engaging with local leaders and community partners to emphasize the need for vigilance and proactive measures to prevent child abuse. Proclamations will be made by city and county officials across Central Texas, highlighting the significance of Child Abuse Prevention Month and recognizing the efforts of CASA, Child Protective Services, SJRC Texas I Belong, and Children’s Advocacy Centers who work tirelessly to support vulnerable children. These proclamations serve as a powerful reminder of peoples’ collective responsibility to protect the well-being of young citizens.
