Families with young children are invited to celebrate Baby Day at the San Marcos Public Library, located at 645 East Hopkins Street on Friday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This fun and free event is hosted by the Start Smart Hays & Caldwell early childhood coalition and is part of a statewide celebration organized by First 3 Years.
Baby Day is all about young children ages 0–3 and the grown-ups who care for them. It’s a time to play, explore and learn together. There will be hands-on activities for babies and toddlers, and caregivers can learn new ways to support their child’s growth.
Families will also get to meet local organizations that support early childhood. There will be fun things to do, giveaways and raffle prizes every 30 minutes.
“Baby Day is a chance to have fun while learning how to help young children grow and thrive,” said Nina Linda Ramos, event organizer. “We’re excited to bring families together to celebrate the early years of life.”
