In the bottom of the second inning, Baylor added three more runs to extend their lead to 6-0.
The Bobcat defense rallied to shutout Baylor in the next four innings.
The Texas State offense struggled against the Bears, managing just two hits against the Baylor defense.
The Bobcats return home this weekend for another conference series against the rival Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
