A new healing space is now open in Wimberley. Bright Light Marriage & Family Therapy, founded by Catia Hernandez Holm, welcomes clients seeking clarity, connection and care. The Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon- cutting ceremony on April 24, which celebrated the practice’s commitment to the well-being of Hill Country families.

Holm, a licensed marriage and family therapist and Certified Conscious Parenting Coach, provides trauma-informed, culturally sensitive therapy for individuals, couples and families navigating the complexities of modern life — body image, technology, identity, boundaries and adolescence.

SERVICES INCLUDE: • Couples counseling

• Family therapy

• Parenting support

• Mindfulness and somatic therapy

• Trauma recovery

• Conflict resolution

• Healing from intergenerational trauma “You don’t need to have it all figured out to start,” Holm said. “Therapy isn’t about having something ‘wrong’ — it’s about being brave enough to grow. I meet people wherever they are, with compassion, curiosity and tools that help them reconnect with themselves and each other. It’s never too late to come home to yourself.”

Bright Light offers in-person sessions in Wimberley and secure virtual therapy for clients across Texas and internationally. Holm has facilitated more than 2,000 sessions with clients in six countries. Complimentary 30-minute consultations are available.

She also offers concierge therapy — personalized, flexible care designed to fit each client’s lifestyle, available in the office or online.

Holm earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas State University while raising two daughters and working throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. A published author, her books include “The Courage to Become” and the 2024 bestseller “A Gentle Return.” Her TEDx talk, Choose Joy or Die, has inspired audiences to pursue lives rooted in purpose and authenticity.
