Members of the Lackland Air Force Honor Guard have taken on the Gary Job Corps Drill Team to assist in training the rifle and flag presentations. Lackland Honor Guard has been active at Parades, Mission Sports Events, “Order of the Sword” General’s Retirement, dignified arrivals, Funerals, and when the presentations of the Colors are required and requested. To date the Gary Job Corps Color Guard has been active with presentations at Veterans Job Fair, Veterans Day Parade, Juneteenth Parade, Texas Independence Day Parade in Austin as well as other parades in Austin, Bastrop and other local areas; when there was a need for a Color Guard, the Gary Job Corps Cadets answered the call.
