SAN MARCOS POLICE DEPARTMENT
The San Marcos Police Department has now located the vehicle and driver that initially struck Michael Lamar Rucker, 33, with a vehicle on SH-123 on May 3, according to an official with the city of San Marcos. Rucker was fatally struck by two vehicles, the second of which stayed at the scene.
“Police received several tips on the vehicle, and the owner/driver also contacted investigators,” the city stated. “He is cooperating with the investigations.”
There has been no arrest at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
