The Mermaid Society held its annual Mermaid Capital of Texas Downtown Promenade (parade) last weekend, followed by the Aqua Blues Music & Art Fest, which was located at Plaza Park. The market had over 120 vendors and featured music by Guy Forsyth, Ace Pepper Group, Wendy Colonna and Blue Water Highway.
