San Marcos-based podcast network Riffage Media recently released the third season of its science-fiction audio drama “The Day Everything Changed.” The six-episode season is available to listen to for free in its entirety on most major podcast platforms, including Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and through its website.
“The Day Everything Changed” is an audio drama about two broken families navigating through a post-apocalyptic world threatened by “sick” and other deadly scavengers in search of sanctuary.
Season three follows the first conversations made with outsiders as the radio tower is repaired near the Cleveland Safe Zone. Once a pair of survivors request a care package, a search crew is sent to meet them in exchange for information. After the crew arrives in Akron, lies are told, blood is spilled and a prophet spreads her message.
“The Day Everything Changed” has reached more than 160,000 downloads since its initial release in 2021. Founded in 2021, Riffage Media specializes in scripted, fiction storytelling.
