Wimberley’s historic season came to an end at Dell Diamond as the Texans fell to the Spring Hill Panthers 5-3 in the 4A Division II State Championship game despite a late seventh inning rally.
The Texans finished the season with a 26-8-1 overall record, playing for their first state championship in program history.
