The Texas Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education Lone Star Chapter is proud to announce the graduation of its inaugural cohort from Texas State Technical College, marking a major milestone toward building a highly skilled advanced manufacturing workforce in the region.
On May 2, ten students from the Lone Star Chapter’s inaugural class walked the stage after having completed the competitive, two-year Associate of Applied Science degree in Advanced Manufacturing Technology. This innovative program combines classroom instruction with paid, hands-on experience at sponsoring manufacturing companies within the region, equipping students with the technical skills, professional behaviors and academic knowledge needed to succeed in today’s modern manufacturing environment.
“The graduation of our first TX FAME Lone Star Chapter cohort is a moment of pride not just for these students and their families, but for the employers, educators and community and State leaders who have come together to invest in the future of manufacturing in our region,” said Jason Dinscore, TX FAME Lone Star Chapter president. “These graduates are proof that strong industry-education partnerships can deliver real results.”
