San Marcos Art Leagues’ second annual Award Show is scheduled for July. Artists of all kinds have an opportunity to be recognized with awards in this exhibition at the San Marcos Art Center. Cash prizes will be awarded in five categories as well as Best In Show.
The Call for Art for this show runs from June 2 to June 27. Applications are available on the San Marcos Art League website artleaguesmtx.org/events. Intake will be at the SMAC on Sunday, June 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. The opening reception will be Friday, July 11 from 6 to 8 pm at the Art Center, where award winners will be announced. Additionally, award winners will have an opportunity to display more of their work at the Award Winners’ Show in September.
