Get ready to wade into a fullyimmersive 4D screening of the animated classic movie “Shrek” complete with wind, scent, props and more. Presented by Broke Thespian’s Theatre Company, this all-senses adventure will have audiences feeling as though they are tromping through the swamp alongside Shrek and Donkey.
The “Shrek 4D Experience” will feature two showings on June 28 at 1701 Hunter Rd.
First up, a family-friendly adventure will start at 3 p.m. Rated PG, this allages screening will feature 4D light effects and themed treats perfect for families and fairytale fans of all ages.
Then at 7 p.m., BTTC presents “Shrek After Dark,” an 18+ showing that will go a little bit wilder. This screening will feature bolder effects, themed cocktails and adult-friendly energy. Costumes are encouraged, so don’t be afraid to be ogre-eager as you join in the fun. A valid ID is required to attend this showing.
