SAN MARCOS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Three suspects were arrested for robbing Royal Jewelers, according to a Facebook post by the San Marcos Police Department. While masked and armed with hammers, Marcus Javae Williams, 28; Montah Jabriel Franklin, 27; and Telvine Jabber Daw, 31, ordered the clerk to the ground, smashed display cases and stole over 100 pieces of jewelry.
“They fled in a stolen Ford Fusion with a fake temp tag, later switching vehicles to a white Dodge Durango,” the post stated.
The suspects were arrested and are charged with aggravated robbery and engaging in organized criminal activity.
SMPD thanked license plate reader technology, surveillance cameras and SMPD detectives for the success of the coordinated effort with San Antonio and Austin police departments in finding the three suspects.
