AN ICONIC ART SHOW & SHREK IN 4D
Summer is in full swing! Things are heating up at Eye of the Dog Art Center and it’s not just their kilns. Join the center in celebrating their new show Lineage, opening Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. The exhibit celebrates the artistic continuum and interconnected creativity of three of Texas’ most prominent ceramic artists, Billy Ray Mangham, Ryan McKerley and Chris Long. This show is sure to be legendary and the perfect excuse to visit the artful wonderland that is Eye of the Dog!
My Shrek fans will rejoice since The Broke Thespians Theatre Company is putting on a 4D experience of Shrek this Saturday at 3 p.m. Tickets are only $10 and they support the actors and crew as they gear up for their summer in the park musical focused on the green ogre. The 4D experience will be a screening of the classic 2001 film but with immersive elements from actors and crew. Turn things up a notch by checking out their After Dark screening at 7 p.m. for folks 18+. There will be a bar and I’m sure some more adult takes on the beloved children’s film.
