There are two new funding opportunities from the St. David’s Foundation that are designed to advance health equity in Central Texas by supporting trusted organizations committed to maternal health equity and mental health and well-being. The deadline for eligible organizations to submit a Letter of Intent is July 28.
HEALTHY BIRTHS, HEALTHY COMMUNITIES This funding opportunity aims to strengthen the maternal health ecosystem by resourcing community- based organizations and networks that are advancing culturally relevant, community-led solutions that serve pregnant women, especially pregnant women of color, who face systemic barriers to quality care and healthy birth outcomes. The Foundation expects to award up to a total of $7 million for this open call.
