Public artist seeks support from San Marcos community to help win award for his Bobcat art at TXST

Artist Matthew Mazzotta is seeking help from the San Marcos and Texas State University communities to help his artwork 'LOCAL HABITAT' win an award. He is the artist behind the larger than life sleeping Bobcat that lives permanently on top of the entrance way to the Cibolo Hall dormitories on campus.

The award is from CODAworx which is the largest award in public art. To vote visit https://codaworx.com/projects/local-habitat-21465 and sign up for a free account. Once your account is active return to the link and click the heart icon until it turns red. Voting closes Friday July 11.
