LOCAL EVENTS
Downtown SMTX put on the most popping event of the summer. Bubble Bash was a family friendly event which featured 25 giant bubble stations, lawn games, a bubble bazaar market, a photo booth provided by San Marcos Film Lab and tunes from DJ Alpha. Downtown businesses also participated with Bubble iSpy at Daughter of the Wild, Bubble Face Painting at Freaky Findz and a DIY Bubble Wand Station at Splash Co-working. SHINKO 88 offered bubble tea samplers, and Smoothie Warriors had smoothie samples. Got Toys had a decorate- your-own maraca station, and one could color their own t-shirt at KnD’s Boutique. The San Market gave out sticker sheets that could be colored, and Fen and Hallow offered natural bubble gum. Bubble fans over 18 could play a prize punch game at Marvelous Smoke. It was a fun filled day of sudsy shenanigans.
