B-I-N-G-O & BITES AND HELP THE HOME CENTER
The much anticipated BINGO & Bites fundraiser is back from 12 to 5 p.m. this Saturday at Eye of The Dog Art Center, located at 405 Valley View West Road. Try your luck for a chance to win awesome prizes donated by local artists. Tickets are $5, $10 or $20 at the door, and there is a silent auction. Cool off inside with free snacks or take a chance outside with the chickens for a chicken poop version of BINGO. Sounds gross, but it’s fun — I promise!
After that, make your way to Wake the Dead Coffee House for a fundraiser for the HOME Center. From 6 to 9 p.m., enjoy music, face painting and raffle prizes from all your favorite local businesses. At 6:30, the TXST Gamelon Lipi Awan will give a performance. They are a group of musicians playing an Indonesian percussion instrument. I used to perform with them so I can’t wait to see them again. At 7, Molly Hayes takes the stage followed by Jack Henry at 7:30 and Emily Ash at 8. Attic Ted will close things out with a fun set at 8:30.
