All UFCU locations in the Greater Austin area will begin accepting flood-related relief supplies Monday morning. This includes the San Marcos branch located at 1190 Thorpe Lane as well as their TXST branch located inside the LBJ Student Center. A full list of UFCU locations can be found at ufcu.org/locations.
The following items are needed the most by those affected by this weekend’s floods: • Food and water: non-perishable food items, including canned goods, energy bars and dried fruit.
• First Aid & Hygiene: first-aid kits, medications, hand sanitizer, soap, toilet paper and other personal hygiene items.
• Baby Supplies: baby food, formula, bottles, diapers and wipes.
• Pet Supplies: food, water, bowls and leashes.
• Clothing & Bedding: clean socks, underwear and changes of clothes.
• Lighting & Communications: flashlights, extra batteries and battery- powered or handcrank radios.
• Cleaning Supplies: mops, rags, buckets, cleaning solutions and garbage bags.
• Other: manual can openers, face masks and plastic tarps.
