Live music fundraiser to support fire department providing flood support

Cookie Lone Star, Mitch Meitler and Ricky Fullen — the team behind Cookie Fest and Hell City Paradise — are joining forces for a powerful cause. High Ground: A Benefit Show for Flood Relief will feature 15 bands to raise funds for the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department, a key player in Kerrville flood rescue efforts. The all-day event will be held on Sunday, July 20 with music starting at 3 p.m. at Jack’s Roadhouse; 100% of door proceeds ($10) and official t-shirt sales ($25) will be donated. If one can’t attend, support can be given by purchasing a shirt. Contact @cookielonestar on Instagram to do so.
