HOFV to hold 9/11 luncheon honoring former prisoner of war

NONPROFIT

Hats Off For Veterans invites the community to join in solemn remembrance and unity at the annual 9/11 Memorial Luncheon, to be held on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 11:30 a.m. at the city of San Marcos Activity Center, located at 501 East Hopkins Street.

This year’s luncheon will feature U.S. Army PFC and Prisoner of War Jessica Lynch as the esteemed guest speaker. Lynch captured the nation’s heart after her heroic survival and rescue during the 2003 Iraq War, becoming the first successful rescue of an American Prisoner of War since WWII and the first ever of a female veteran. Her story of courage, resilience and hope continues to inspire countless service members and their families.

Proceeds from this event will benefit Hats Off For Veterans’ Mental Health and Wellness Programs, supporting Texas veterans who have bravely served our country.

Sponsorships and tickets now available by visiting HOFV.org.

Community members and businesses can support this tribute through various sponsorship tiers, including table reservations, centerpiece sponsorships or program ads. Individual tickets are also available, with options for lunch included.

For more information on sponsorship opportunities or to reserve your seat, please visit HOFV.org, call 512-6825333 or email [email protected].

Join us as we honor the legacy of September 11, pay tribute to our heroes and continue our mission of serving those who served.
