The San Marcos Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that took place between San Antonio and Guadalupe Streets, resulting to two fatalities in the early morning of Saturday, July 19. SMPD has detained several people and stated there is no ongoing threat the public.
The streets were opened as of 7:28 a.m. on July 19, and SMPD is asking anyone with information, pictures or video to come forward.
